On February 6th, 2002, Canadians celebrated the 50th Anniversary
of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In commemoration,
the Golden Jubilee Medal was awarded to Canadians recognized for
their outstanding service to the community or to Canada as a whole,
including youth who are active in their contribution to the future
of Canada.
