The Sounds of RCSCC Quinte

Music is a big part of the life of many cadets of RCSCC Quinte. They are well known for their presence at Christmas parades, including the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. Attendance at the Annual Christmas Concert or the Mother's Day Spring Tea give an audience an enjoyable experience listening to the professional and full Brass and Reed Band sound these musicians deliver. With their musical repetoire ranging from traditional military marches to the sounds of the big brass band era, soundtracks from movies such as Star Wars and popular songs of groups such as the Beatles, the RCSCC Quinte Band has something for everyone!

The expert training in Music by LCdr Bevvan, at Beginner and Junior Band levels, and by Lt.(N) Fairbrother, with the Senior Band, gives cadets who have never played an instrument before the opportunity to learn quickly and become a part of the Sound of RCSCC Quinte.

Listen to some members of RCSCC Quinte as they play as part of the Senior Band at HMCS Ontario at RMC Kingston during Summer Training 2003. These tracks of the HMCS Ontario Senior Band 2003 were recorded by the Department of Music on August 6, 2003 at Bayside Secondary School in Belleville, ON.
