Keeping in good physical
condition is an important part of the Sea Cadet program. Cadets
are encouraged to participate in an active and healthy lifestyle
to remain fit. Individual goals are established for each cadet and
education is provided to ensure that they recognize the benefits
of physical activity, as well as problems incurred through lack
of physical activity or improper techniques of physical training.
The cadets at RCSCC Quinte recognize the importance of being physically
fit and are encouraged to participate in special days involving
skiing, swimming, drill, sailing and skating. The opportunities
for fun and friendship during these days make physical fitness training
enjoyable. |
