One of the first mandatory weekends of the cadet
training year is an opportunity for new entry cadets and those
already involved with RCSCC Quinte to get to know each other better,
spending a night in tents or cabins. Cadets brave the elements
of rain or shine with challenging and fun orienteering exercises
and other activities. They learn basic survival skills, work to
ensure the protection of the environment and develop necessary
skills to ensure health and safety during their adventure. It's
a chance for senior cadets to develop their leadership tasking
skills and new cadets to begin their experience as a Sea Cadet!
