At the RCSCC Quinte we are able to offer St. John Ambulance First Aid Instruction to our Cadets. An in-house instructor means that courses are run at least twice per year ensuring that there are always cadets and officers with up-to-date Standard First Aid and C.P.R. qualifications. Despite an intensive weekend of training, the cadets are always excited about the knowledge gained. We are grateful to the St. John Ambulance Organization for allowing us to use their facilities on Montrose Ave. Many of our cadets have described incidents where they were able to use their first aid and cadet leadership training to take charge of an emergency situation. Not only were they effective in this role but the self confidence it inspired has been invaluable.
